2008 Toyota Supra Wins race

Toyota 2008 Team SARD's specially-prepared 2008 Toyota Supra HV-R hybrid GT racer has won the Tokachi 24-hour endurance race in Japan. The converted Super GT-spec racing car did so convincingly, too. As the only GT-class car in the field, the Denso SARD Supra HV-R maintained a steady lead of several laps throughout the course of the race, and in the later hours, it essentially dialed things up a notch and ran away from the rest of the field. After starting from the pole position, the Supra completed 616 laps in the ensuing 24 hours -- 19 more than the second-place finisher.
The victory marks the first of its type for a hybrid-powered vehicle. The Supra HV-R began life as a retired 480-horsepower Super GT racing car, which then had regenerative braking technology and a trio of hybrid motors added to it for this event. What bearing, if any, the success of the Supra HV-R has on Toyota's plans for production sports hybrid vehicles is unknown. With reports that the FT-HS concept is on its way to production, however, we'll likely be seeing how well a production-spec hybrid sports car fares soon enough.

Preparing Toyota Supra for sale

Tip 1 - Pick your time.
If you can possibly help it, don't sell your toyota supra after Christmas, when no one has any money. Also, showing off your car on a weeknight can be strategically useful, because the buyer may not have time to view other vehicles. This works particularly well if you take the time to detail it as I describe. If you don't he will just move on, so I need to emphasise that car selling tips work best in conjunction with each other.
Tip 2 - First Impressions are everything
Just like you are going on a date - first impressions are everything. Get all the rubbish and junk out of it. Deodorize it. Wash it, clean it.
Tip 3 - As the good boy scout says. Be prepared.
Get your paperwork in order. Find the spare keys etc. It can easily happen that the buyer will change his mind while you are fluffing around, or get a phone call about another car. Get all the paperwork to hand and get it done as soon as you can after closing the sale. This is very important. You still need to stay calm and in control and the best way to help you do this is to get organised before hand.
Tip 4 - change some bad parts.
Before selling your car be shure that all parts are all right. Your ought to check everythink and change broken parts. We can offer you site about toyota parts, where you can read some rivews and check dealers for some parts of toyota and used toyota cars.

Toyota Supra history

The Toyota Supra was a sports car/grand tourer produced by Toyota Motor Company from 1979 to 2002. The styling of the Toyota Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider. Starting in mid-1986, the Supra (in its third generation, MKIII) became its own model and was no longer based on the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica and began just calling the car Supra. Due to the similarity and past of the Toyota Celica's name, it is frequently mistaken for the Toyota Supra, and vice versa.
The Supra also traces much of its roots back to the Toyota 2000GT with the main instance being its engine. The first three generations were offered with a direct descendant to the 2000GT's M engine. All four generations of Supra produced have an inline 6-cylinder engine.
Along with this name and car Toyota also included its own logo for the Supra. It is derived from the original Celica logo, being blue instead of orange. Often people think it is some sort of swan, but it more closely resembles a dragon. The logo was on Supras until 1989 when Toyota switched to its current oval company logo.
In 1999, Toyota ceased sales of the Supra in the United States and in 2002 Toyota officially stopped production of the Supra in Japan.
